Service Description

A periodic inspection and testing for a Solar PV system is essentially a structured, methodical “health check” that confirms the installation remains safe, compliant, and performing as intended. Much like an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) for general electrics, it assesses the system against current standards, but with PV-specific considerations. These include the unique risks and characteristics of DC circuits, the operational safety of inverters (including grid protection functions), and the generation performance of the array. The process aims to detect wear, degradation, or hidden faults before they cause serious issues, ensuring continued compliance with regulations, maximising energy yield, and extending the life of the system.
